Nice work, Would it be better oriented landscape wise?
What was the workflow to get a mosaic? Thats my next to do thing when I get a run of decent weather

Great effort Hugh, mosaics can be very time consuming and hard to get right.
Your result is very good

Hi Nikolas...

Took me a while to get a system that worked.
Firsrt I tried using the Mosaic mode in DSS (I don't have the processing power to run Pixinsight).
Then I tried stitching the panels in Photoshop... Neither of these was even remotely successful.

Eventually, I resorted to;
1) stack each panel individually in DSS.
2) Import the nine panels into Lightroom Classic (CC) and Merge to a Panorama.
3) Take that merged file (Still 16 Bit TIFF) and "Edit In Photoshop".
4) Do a basic Stretch.
5) Remove stars in Starnet++.
6) finish stretching the nebulosity in PS and then insert the stars back in.

Took a few hours to get the process ironed out and just after I posted this, I reprocessed in PS and got a much nicer result...
