Running Chicken progress

Had a few good clear nights this week. I like to process as I proceed, helps me refine my basic pixinsight skills, try new things, and keep fresh in my mind the overall process. I still have a lot to learn with processing these type of images.

This one is 3 nights / 15.25 hours of 5 minute subs. I got another 7 last night I'll add to the mix. I also plan to get much better stars using the L-Pro filter.

HEQ5, 72ED with 071mc Pro at -5c, Gain 150, L-extreme filter, 300 sec subs x 183 all calibrated. Current stars were 30 shots of 20sec but realised I didn't reduce my gain and blew them out a bit.

Looks like tonight is the last clear night for a week so I'll focus on stars 1st, then maybe keep running for a last lot of subs. All from my bortle 5 backyard in Ipswich Qld.

Lol I know, I haven't fully worked on my final composition as yet, just been keen to see what so much data gives me. This is the longest acquisition I've ever done and seeing what is coming out, has shown me I really need to put serious hours into targets now.

Thanks everyone, I'm still working on the final image. Up to around 24.25 hours of data now and RGB stars, just having some PC troubles heh so will get there eventually.
