Look at the ad for AEC Takahashi on the side of this page.

Not sure, but I bought a Tak Prism diagonal from them about a year and a half ago, easy to deal with, good price

Been impressed with AEC, they are responsive to queries.

I've purchased Vixen and Takahashi gear from them since the mid-1990's and have not had any issues with them. They once had to ship my Tak EM200 Temma II mount control box back to Japan for repairs and I was pleased with the outcome.

The business owner, Claude, likes a bit of a chat, so be prepared to spend time on the phone if you call them.

Cheers

Dennis

When I was flying to the USA on a regular basis I was tempted to pick up Takahashi gear from US vendors, however by the time you factored in and often lousy exchange rate, Californian sales tax and Customs charges, it was cheaper to buy from
Claude at AEC.

My only gripe is Takahashi have been VERY slow to deliver of late, with many 'scopes having waiting times of a year or so...I'd stress this is not AEC's fault. Many Astro manufacturers have blown out
their delivery times due the current OEM parts supply problems.

Though I haven't purchased from AEC in the last year or two I have always had good service from them. My first experience was in 1998 when I purchased a Vixen 9x63 binocular from them. Since then there have been many other items such as Takahashi telescopes, various accessories, eyepieces and so on. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Claude’s great to deal with.
He used to let me charge him for chatting on the phone to me.
All my Tak gear ended up being half price in the end.

I used to carry a spare battery for my mobile phone just in case Claude called…
I have bought several new Taks from AEC as well as a bunch of eyepieces and finders….. only one item arrived out of collimation, a FOA60Q needed tweaking…
