That looks really good Nik (even given IIS forum image compression), with plenty of fine detail and subtle exposure in the core Is it from Home Base / Melbourne?

I actually do think that M42, the first deep space object discovered [in 1610AD] is underrated. It is my favourite object in the sky. Bak in 2012 Astrophysisits discovered a black hole in M42, that the stars of the trapezium move fast around this black hole.

Nice one mate. The L-Pro seems to have worked pretty well for you there and still got plenty of detail in those outer clouds. Shot in OSC I presume?
