Orion Widefield - HaRGB

In response to considerable pressure , I have completed the processing of my Orion Widefield image this time with colour and with stars . Surprisingly, with all of the inclement weather we've been having, I managed to capture enough data over January/February to put something together. More Ha would have been nice as would the opportunity to capture some OIII and SII. That will have to wait until next season.

Link to image on Astrobin here.
Full acquisition details available on the Astrobin site.

Comments and critique welcome.

CS,
Rodney

A lot has been said of the data you've captured in your Ha image, but it's the processing of this one that floors me. You're a master. That is just sheer perfection. Well done, Rodney. If this isn't APOD, the system's rigged!

Many thanks for the kind words. Possibly too much competition out there for an APOD but I like the thought

Well...that's pretty bloody good huh? Came together very nicely

Deep but subtle and believable, natural looking result, well done, most enjoyable viewing Rod
