WITHDRAW: Takahashi FS60-CB and Discmounts DM4 with Nexus DSC for a Celestron C11 OTA

Looking to trade my small grab-and-go setup for a Celestron C11 OTA (with D-series dovetail) with XLT coating.

I would prefer a ‘local’ swap, but I would also consider meeting halfway depending on how far a drive.

The setup comprises the following:

Takahashi FS60-CB
- Takahashi FS60-CB OTA (Serial #12050)
- Clamshell
- Certificate and instruction manual
- Excellent condition

Discmounts DM-4 with Nexus DSC
- DM-4 head with Astro Devices 311k magnetic encoders installed
- DM-4 adjustment wrench (to set the tension on each axis)
- DM-4 8" Extension Column (3/8"-16 thread)
- 4" tilt-in saddle
- 4" dovetail converter (converts saddle from Losmandy to Vixen size - easily removed to convert back to Losmandy)
- Nexus DSC with original box
- Astro Devices shelf for Nexus DSC
- Excellent condition

Tripod
- Datum Flathead Laser Tripod
- Home-made tripod spreader
- Modified with 3/8” knob to secure mount

If interested, send me a message via PM.

I will post some photos shortly.

Cheers,

Daniel

Hi there

I thought I would just clarify regarding some of the details in the advert, I would be happy to come to you (with gear in tow ) if you are located in South Australia.

If you were willing and able to make it to canberra I have my Celestron EdgeDH 11” rig I would happily swap. I’m physically disabled since 2014 so I cant use it anymore, no space or money to build permanent home but your rig would fit on wheels I could wheel outside safely. Not looking to split so you’ll have to take the cgemdx tripod/mount etc too. Just a thought.

3 way sounds complicated. But i guess I can be flexible I cant go anywhere and am both disabled and unemployed. Daniels grab and go rig sounds like a ready to rock setup I can use with my limited physical capability. Not in any huge hurry eith so will wait and see what Daniels says, i had a couple of easy questions for him.

Daniels rig not really suitable to my situation, nothing going on here involving me, Daniels request still stands and nothing wrong with it so contact him if you can help him out (my ignorance and disability prevent me helping him).

Hi everyone

The rig is still up for trade .

Just to clarify, the Discmounts DM4 is an alt-az push to mount, so not really suitable for imaging. It is specifically designed for visual use.

Thanks everyone.

Cheers
