ngc2626 and Gum14 in Vela from Atacama

Hi guys !

Here is a reflection nebula located in the Vela constellation: ngc2626 (it's the white spot on the bottom/right of the picture)
The red all around is the number 14 of the Gum catalog

This picture is an LRGB only... add some Ha next year, for sure

Technical informations here: http://www.atacama-photographic-obse...hoto.php?id=62

And full size picture here: http://www.atacama-photographic-obse..._ngc2626_f.jpg

See you...

Thank you Colin

On the top of the picture, we can see the PCG 24218 planetary nebula... The most part of it

Gorgeous image. I think its perfect as it is. Adding Ha will make it too solid and lose the nice balance you've achieved here.

I know this is an old topic but not many people have imaged Gum 14 / RCW27.
I am doing it now and Ha is amazing. Yesterday I did RGB but can't see too much.
However seeing this image gives me hope.
