Was Santa Good To You?

So ... did most receive Socks and Jocks for Christmas this year or was Santa a bit more original? Not seeing many posts bragging about new Astro goodies so far?

Okay I’ll bite!
Santa got me a Samyang 135 f/2. A DeWalt polisher. Some LEGO (Star Wars droid), He-Man pyjamas (haha) and an astrophotography book. Thanks, Santa!

I got a Bunnings voucher - oh yes, and a tiny share in a nice new space telescope.

A few pairs of socks, flannel lined jeans and some new headphones…

Best of all was a nice meal with my wife and both sons.

Astro related. An Svbony 7-21 zoom eyepiece. As we have clouds here, i tested it in my small acro at local scenery. Very nice eyepiece. Well made, no rattles, sharp field stop. If it holds up well against my other eyepieces, i might just get a mate for it and try them in my bino.

I normally get socks, jocks and aftershave.... but I must have been extra nice this year as Mrs Santa bought me a DJI drone and a N31T5.... now I feel guilty only buying her a purse....

Lol Matt, at least you got the wife a purse.

I got the wife nothing but I some how ended up with a SDM scope, Samsung watch and a watch I have been waiting for a year for.

Need to make it up to the wife for the next year.

Me: aftershave/cologne x2, socket wrench and torque wrench set, a model kit and a new rifle (semi-approved by the wife...she turns a blind eye )

Wife got a combined 40th birthday/Xmas/New Year present - a pure bred Siberian cat tortie furball(cost as much as my complete FS60CB/Q scope with flattener and reducer...but whatever) plus we went to the movies on Christmas night...kid-free. Now THAT was a present
