Fornax LighTrackII mount

Fornax Lightrack II star tracker

Made in 2017. I’m the second owner and it’s been very lightly used. I’m now using a small eq mount for widefields and don’t need the portability of the Fornax so much.

High quality tracker with friction drive. Periodic error +/- 2 arc seconds. More robust and much more accurate than Skywatcher and Ioptron models which can run to 50 arc seconds PE or more.
With good polar alignment, easily manages 3 min exposures at 300mm, unguided.

Specifications:
Weight: 1.3kg
Max camera/telescope weight: 6 Kg (without counterweight)
Max camera/telescope weight: 12 Kg (with balanced counterweight)
Tracking rates: Siderial, Solar, Lunar, Half sidereal
Max tracking time before reset: 107 min
Autoguider input

Included in package:
Lightrack II
Polar alignment scope mounted with adjustable alignment screws. Skywatcher illuminator.
Super solid and adjustable Fornax Wedge FMW-200
Berlebach counterweight assembly: Castor mount with counterweight bar and two counterweights
Craftright foam lined carrying case
12 v Power and ST4 cables
Camera ball head
360 degree tripod pano adapter
(Tripod in photos not included.)

More photos including counterweight arm.
Note - the Berlebach unit can be used independently as a simple tripod mounted altaz mount for small scopes.
