Windows 11 installed

Painless and glitch free installation.

Took less than 1 hour to download and install.

cheers

Just a FWIW...
Make sure that your printer still.....prints.
Been quite a few reports on them failing.

Both Brother printers still working, scanning to pc and printing.

All apps/programs seem intact and working.

Largely a non-event for me. Quick, painless and everything working as before but with rounded corners.

The +ve side is that it is quite noticeably a lot faster on my gaming pc!

Painless for me too!

Can't even install it on my Ivy Bridge Intel core i3 laptop!
Apparently I'm obsolete.

Regards, Rob

I actually quite like it - nothing earth shattering, but its an incremental improvement.

True story. Do not have any problems with an installation, but still, it looks for me like a weird hybrid between MacOS and Windows 10.

Only thing I don't like is the lack of customisation to the Start Menu. I have a lot of programs I need to access. I wish they'd let you remove the "recommended" section entirely so more programs would populate the menu. Or create folders.

Otherwise it's fine. For AMD Ryzen users, remember to get your system patched. W11 created some performance issues for AMD which has been patched through both Windows Update and a firmware update from AMD's website.
