Be careful what you "WISH" for.

Now I have your attention may I ask if you have ever purchased thru WISH?

I may have but I cant recall and I have uninstalled their App... but what I wish to learn folk about did not happen with WISH...but I saw and ordered a barometer...and did not look at the dimensions assuming they were indeed stated but I dont recall..my vision of a barometer is about 140 mm in diameter but the one I received was maybe 65 mm ...my fault but it size has changed it from a bargain to not so much.

The other thing that surprised me was they should be calibrated...but I shan't bother as all that is of interest to me is it rising or falling...

The item that should be really disappointing is the $10 night vision goggles but I have them in mind for a prank ...then I cant wait for the $4 pocket watch...it will probably be tiny.

So to drive my lesson home ..that of check everything...

My $25 overcoat arrived today ( as well as my 400 mtrs of Telecom rope)...great coat and rather original and happy to wear it in public...however it ends at the same length as an ordinary jacket...not knee length as I assumed..now we have over coat after over coat all full length shots and all to the knees..but now that I look at mine the photo cut off just below the waist so I assumed given the ones either side ...see the trap for young players?

So I need some snow chains to put on my bush basher for these muddy conditions...so here are some nice chains...and only $12...the tyre was covered in them but $12 only buys you one of the eight that you see on the tyre...so I am seeing a pattern.

Another ring arrived as well...far too big but not too bad really..I could not remember the price and only just now checked .. it was only $2-80..heck at that price you could have a pocket full to give to the girls in the bank...I always give them a bunch of flowers but a ring would be nice..

Very happy with the Telecom rope only ordered it last week I think..but 400 mtrs for $70 you cant go wrong...unless you dont be careful unwinding it..can be very messy if you are not careful.

Now waiting for the $10 night vision googles..I wonder how that will go...suit a Barby doll I expect...
But heck It is fun..and still to come is the $4 pocket watch ..mmm probably a Barby accessory..and an old fashion cigarette lighter that was cheap and looked so cool.. pity I dont smoke but it looks so neat.

The night vision goggles arrived and they are terrible their only value being as a collectors item for the section of your collection labeld " I was taken down badly".

The great news is the little lighter that I had given up on..I thought I was dudded for sure but no it arrived and it is just so cute..I love it already and want it buried with me and my servants when I depart for the paradise that no one has seen or returned from to describe.

The vest with many pockets arrived which I plan to use like a lady uses a hand bag..I will trial it carrying my phone wallet knife some string an energy bar keys the idea being you put it on when going out and take it off when you get home thereby saving all that time one wastes gathering placing etc and the mandatory pocket emptying on return.
I am still waiting on some things but so far most impressed with the whole game and r cognise my mmistakes and do not blame any vendor.
Next is a horse bow and arrows..I believe although cheap good ones can be had very cheap.

Wow Alex you are in a spend mood, yea mate there are always someone out there to rip you off and relieve you of your cash.

Things aren't always as they seem, and if it sounds to good to be true it usually is.

At least you haven't spent heaps on these items,

Now with your rope, have to agree that Telecom rope can tangle easily, especially at the length you have.

Before you go any further mate, cut it off at 5 -6 meter lengths, burn the ends to stop fraying and you will be right.

5-6 Meters is usually ample to tie down most things.

I have spent very little on the net shopping and not that much on sports cars either compared to what I could expect to pay for a new one.

Yes the telecom rope....your suggestion is most sensible but I just can not do it...I cant cut it like that..so the problem haunts me...I am working on solutions and I need a plan as I need to throw up a temporary car port for this new car..tarps and telecom rope...I am starting to think I should have built a garage then looked for a car...better still forget the car..so silly..but its about pretending that I have a normal life you see..I dont need to drive it and I would love to live long enough to see it degrade...anyways the spending spree is well and truely over ..I was going to build a little cottage but gave up on that idea and blew my cash on toys...it feels rather refreshing not to be sensible and efficient with money..
