Heq5 V2.5

I'm getting serious about an HEQ5 with V2.5 software.
Can any of the forum members with similar set-up answer a couple of questions before I part with some serious dollars
1. Will the ST-4 autoguider plug into the head and work OK?
2. How well does the this mount track? OK for long (> 10min) exposures?
3. How well does the software interact with programs like CDC/ The Sky?
4. What are the limitations of V2.5 ? Is the V3 mandatory?
5. Any other feedback positive or negative?
Would like to make the "final" decision over the weekend, so would appreciate some quick feedback.
You can PM me if you feel that is more appropriate.
Many thanks,

1) ST4 guiding will be perfect
2) Mount will track perfectly for 10 min exposures as long as autoguided
3) CDC works very well
4) Ver 2.5 gotos (except for planets) are very good as long as mount is level AND well polar aligned
5) ver 3.12 is very good as can SYNC on object but can use ver 2.5 with ascom and EQMOD (see yahoo groups) for extremely good guiding as well as goto without version 3.
