A bit of trivia - A song full of contradictions and history
In another thread we have been having a bit of fun with quotes from the movie Casablanca .. for some odd reason it made think of the song Lili Marleen which has a very interesting story behind it .. a failed propaganda song. Indeed it is a song full of contradictions and history.
Australians need a serious wake-up call to do something about our sheer lack of rights and the fact that bureaucrats can snoop in your business (and totally screw with it) on a mere suspicion.

I note one of the Murdoch clan will shortly be firing up the G4 and headed to the USA while the rest of us are forbidden to leave.
The duplicity is breathtaking....particularly for us who are already fully vaccinated.

Yeah nah... that tech part doesn't pass the pub test for sure.
As for the rest hasn't it always been the case?
In my time in the British Army in Germany, we had some very different words to that song.
Just listening to that brought the words come flooding back.
Most regiments had their own version.
