Still more work to do...

The Ha & O3 subs are amazing, will glue them in soon.

Will be interesting when we get the other half of the galaxy added. Lots of fine detail hiding in there. Looking forward to the finished ! image.

I like this crop Peter, kinda makes you wonder about the missing half, like a teaser ...are you mosaicking... or indeed just teasing us?

There are lots of background fuzzies around NGC 55, same with nearby NGC 300 too, if the seeing cooperates, makes for a cool vista

Thanks Jeff, a work in progress. I'll get there one day...

Hi Mike

Surfing around in the hires I was totally blown away at the beauty of just that area. No mosaic, it's a crop.

I am having trouble incorporating the Ha & O3.

At this stage it's just not working. After using the NBRGB script in PI, everything goes green and the detail disappears.

Will work it out eventually.

Yes incorporating just Ha seems to cause relatively little issue but combining both Ha and OIII into a galaxy image and getting a balanced natural looking result can be a little more tricky, look forward to seeing your final result.

Like some others, I've tried it on the LMC and SMC, NGC 300 and Barnards galaxy
