Hi all, been a while since I have done any imaging and enjoyed getting back into it the last couple of weeks when the weather has permitted.
The less enjoyable bit for me the last week has been relearning bits of Pixinsight. Unfortunately I was never much good at it to start with

though there are some additional tutorials out there these days.
This LRGB image is:
19 x 10min Lum
12 x 10min Red
11 x 10min Green
14 x 10min Blue
Processed in PI with some finishing in PS. I have probably put 12 hours into processing this (including learning the new weighted batch preprocessing script) I got stuck on a few things throughout the process and in the end I couldn't really get the blue in the bright bit of the nebula to come through and a lot of the nebulosity has come out quite faint and without much definition.
I did use the Star de-emphasizing script Adam Block promotes and it did reduce the stars a little but it is a field that is loaded with stars so probably a futile effort. I also discovered and learned how to use StarNet.
So I guess I have learnt/re-learnt some stuff for my time investment but I am not really that happy with how the image came out.
Critique/tips welcome.
