Another go at the Helix

Wonderful to read the comments on recent Helix images. Reprocessed my own version as a result of this. While more data would be better I figured I could be more delicate with the detail and less heavy handed. Feel like it’s an improvement?

I agree that is outstanding. Love the colour palette and processing.

Many thanks Greg. It was an interesting object to reprocess after reading all the detailed responses to Peter, Paul and Martin’s images and the references to other deep images (which this is not). Hopefully I’ve kept the data faithful to what I’ve captured (some Decon and slight sharpening), even if the colours have been twisted slightly (green removed and reds made a little more orange).
