M17 Omega Nebula

Captured M17 Omega Nebula ( Swan ) a few nights ago from my South Coast Obs where conditions over the past week have been excellent with beautiful clear skies , low humidity, no dew , little wind and no moon
NexDome Obs
8” f5 GSO newt
EQ6-R pro Mount
ZWOASI2600MC set in Ascom to Highest Dynamic Range Gain 0 cooled to -10C
Baader MPCC Mk3 coma corrector
Optolong L Extreme filter
60 x 3 minute dithered guided subs
No darks
Goto and tracking EQMOD and Ascom Stellarium
Framed focused and captured in APT
PHD2 Multistar guiding ( 0.75 arc sec error total )
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Startools V1.7 OSC Linear data set ( Bi Colour preset )

Original frame
Crop version for closer detail

looks good to me Martin, appears like you've picked up a fair bit of the faint stuff whilst good detail in the brighter areas.

Much appreciated
I thought the colour needed a bit more saturation but that tends to hide the fine detail
Pretty happy with the outcome with only 3 hours of data
I don’t post anywhere elsewhere so don’t have any links to full res file
