loggin timeout

When you log in and dont select the "Remember Me" tick, box how long
is the time out? seems awefully short to me. Many times I have logged
in typed up a message only to click submit and find I have been logged
out. Then you have to retype the dang thing. Maybe you could extend
this timeout a lil more. Because when you click the "Back" button you
lose all the text in the message.

just my 2 cents worth

regards,CS

It's 15 minutes.

Just tick 'remember me' and if you don't want it to save the cookie, then click "logout" at the end of your session.

Hi Rob,

I type all my stuff in text form, then copy and paste. That way if anything
happens you will always have a saved copy.

Cheers,
John.

Your not wrong there John. Those moment when you're really proud of the 15 paragraph monologue that answers the question with a standard deviation of 0.0000001 and you press post quick reply to await the accolades of your peers and ......... BOOM! All gone.

It technically shouldn't log you out unless you haven't clicked on anything for 15 minutes. If you select "remember me" it will never log you out but you will not appear on the who's online list after 15 minutes.

In a perfect world, this is the behaviour. It's not a perfect world
