The seeing is great! Who's out in it?

C'mon Bird, Matt, John, Dennis, DP etc..

Where are you? I know you're out there The seeing is great! Time for 1 last image before the SPSP astrophoto comp? Wonder if I can get this printed in mudgee

I've got a dewshield on which is helping for the time being, but the image is still a bit dimmer than it should be. I've got gamma set at 16, looks better. Thanks Bird.

Well that'll do me.. 12 avi's and a couple of ganymede/europa. I need to get some sleep before I got to SPSP, and the mount was about to flip anyway so time to call it a night.

Hope you other guys got some great images!

Here's the first of the 12 avi's.. there's better than this I think but I won't get time to process them until Monday!

Happy with the (native) image scale, it's almost 400px across!

Hi Mike

Thanks for the coaching and cajoling to get out under the skies, but when I turned in last night, we were clouded out in Brisbane! Looks like you had a great time though – well done!

Cheers

Dennis

Yep we got a drenching for a while here last night, and the night before

Nice start for the night Mike. It's an awful shame you won't be able to process the rest until Monday. Maybe you should stay home for the weekend and work on them

BTW what do you use to measure your pixel width? Photoshop?

Well done, Mike.

Seeing here this morning was crap, and there was a whole layer of smoke over us as well...so transparency was shot to the shizenhousen!!!

From what I can gauge from the JS and synpotic charts, we might be in for better seeing tonight/tomorrow morning.

Just hope this smoke clears

Cheers
