That's definitely a fun little challenge! Just a few days ago someone on deviantART uploaded an image of Saturn they had taken afocally with the exact same model of mobile phone that I own. Next time I get my scope out I'm gonna be giving it a red hot go

That guys lunar image is really quite nice Haha its pretty much better than anything I've managed to achieve on the moon with my actual cameras :p

Keep them coming everyone!

That's a pretty good image. I don't see why you couldn't get quite good pics with the mobile phone cameras these days, at 2 or 3 mp, they're going to be better than the camera I started with (Kodak DXsomething, 2mp).

I have a new phone that I haven't worked out yet. I have been put on the Next-G system, which meant my old CDMA phone had to go.

I took a beautiful Sunset the other day, but I can't work out how to download it to the pooter yet.

I'm having trouble even sending text messages and answering calls with this new phone! Very frustrating, but when I finally work it out, I'll give it a go in the scope

I long for a phone that just makes them and takes them, my current 'phone has a multitude of functions that border on the totally useless, how could one use a 17 second video feature or a voice recorder with a 10 second capability. Remember when mobile 'phones were practicle, had a workable keypad, and screens that were smaller but not cluttered with crap, that we could answer with a gloved hand, that rang like a telephone and for enough time for us to answer them, Ah. the good old days, about two years ago........
