8 out of 10 Saturn and Luna

Last night must have been amongst the best seeing I've had. I would have rated it between 7&8 out of 10. It was so good that all five major moons around Saturn were clearly visable. I know that these pics are not the fantastic standard posted by other members but I'm happy until I can aford the fancy toys! Saturn was at 400X with 5mm and 2X barlow. All pictures hand held with a Olympus 410 compact digital.

It doesn't matter what gear you've got as long as you're out there and having a go, and you are happy

for hand held images these are great results. You should be very pleased. You have obviously also got a very steady hand..what's your golf handicap?

I'd convert the moon images to grey scale, but that is just a personal preference
