Many Thanks

Hi All,

I would just like to thank some of the members of IIS who so kindly gave their advice and shared there experience with me while attempting to learn how to drive the G11 and Gemini Go-To.

It can be a scary experience but after much question asking and even long extended phone calls, the set up is working like a dream.

Thanks to John, especially, it is aligned perfectly with A and E readings all at Zero and Zero, cant get much better than that, now comes the fun part, many hours under the night sky.

This is such a great helpful site.thanks to all who helped me.

Cheers leon

Glad you got everything sorted, Leon.

Yeah. IIS is a great place and the members here are as helpful as you'd find anywhere.

And there's more of 'em here than anywhere else...so you're pretty much assured of getting those questions answered

The Real Deal...baby!!!

That JohnG fella knows his stuff, BTW

Phil,

I used drift align, with a 9mm Reticle Cross Hair EP, once that was done i went to 4 bright stars on the East of the Meridian, and they centered in the Ep each time, and then did a couple in the West, which did the same.

That pointing model is saved in Gemini and from there i can go where i please,

Mind you, this is all John's doing, he helped me so much.

Cheers Leon
