ngc 2359 with asi2600mm

Hi just a quick bi-colour ha o3 of Thor's Helmet. New house new observatory new camera, 18" Newt. on different mount what could go wrong. A lot went wrong lol, anyway it is a start . 5 minute subs about 3 hours total 2x2 bin.

I empathise with your cause Ken, bringing in a new configuration always means you there is a lot to do before recommencing forward progress. You're off to a great start with this one though.

Thanks guys yes I was not prepared for all the changes just changing from the 1600mm to the 2600mm. The 11.5 mm of extra back focus plus the change in filter wheel thickness meant I had to remove my sx active optics unit also move the oag to a new position infront of the coma corrector. Also moved the tube assembly from a home made gem to a eq8 mount.No one can say astrophotgraphy isn't a challange.lol.
