Selling my 6 month old Skywatcher Espirit 100ED ota. Bought new from Bintel in August 2020. It's in excellent condition as shown and come in original case with all supplied accessories (Only think missing is the paper instruction manual... cant find it).
Frankly this has been a superb astro-imaging scope for deep sky with native fast F5.5 and a focal length of 550mm being perfect for so many objects. While only having for 6 months I have done hundreds of hours of imaging with it and produced some great results (to me at least - check out some recent images I did with it on astrobin

Only reason I'm selling is I've gone all out dropping around $9k on an APM LZOS 130mm refractor... and part of the reason is the Espirit 100ed is so good I feel I needed to take that big a jump to realise any real gains over what I had with the espirit.
This cost me $3499 just six months ago and
I am asking for the OTA now one thousand less, so just $2495. Prefer pickup in Brisbane. It could be posted but would come in packed at close to 20kg so a royal pain and extra $.
I'm also selling an unused Starizona APEX 0.65x reducer (good for up to APSC sensors) that Starizona designed with the Espirit 100ED in mind and the addiitonal screw adaptor sold separately for the Espirit100ed to minimise any tilt. It's unused as I sent back a faulty one and Scott Tucker took a few copies out (in Arizona) to test on his Espirit 100ed and cherry picked the best and sent that to me... since then I haven't had a chance to use it and decided to sell as I dont think it will suit my new scope. The adaptor plate has seen some use with the original APEX.
