First Attempt at the moon

My first time pointing a telescope at the moon, with all the bad weather went after the gaps in the high cloud, Setup as below, 7000 subs at 1/125s, ISO 100, I was aiming to keep the histogram per colour near to 75% to catch more detail in the dark areas

Stacked in astrostakkert 3, then some simple processing to darken it up,

I can't help but feel it seems out of focus, But that might have just been me being impatient for any thing to aim at.

You would have to be happy with that result Ryan, it is very good.

Next you can look at the moon charts and identify the Mares and craters and even place labels on the image just for fun.

The crescent moon will show more detail so you have more work to do.

Well done!
