more Jupiter from April 1 2007 Murrumbateman

Here's an image from the best portion of the seeing, resampled 2x in ninox before feeding into registax, then deconvolution slightly in Astra Image and final blurring/unsharp masking in Gimp and then reducing to 1.5x original size.

Capture: 50 seconds each of R,G,B @ 40fps
Scope: http://www.acquerra.com.au/astro/lexx.html

regards, Bird

Absolutely amazing.. i've never seen so much detail before. What is that weird disturbance on the north side of the EQZ just past the CM?

The rippled surface in the white south tropical zone has my attention, I'm sure it's real, as the white polar storms are nice and smooth internally by compariso even though they are close by. Also looks like a pale yellow jetstream of some kind flowing past the GRS.

Great stuff, Bird.

Yep.

I also captured that pale yellow jetstream flowing past the GRS in my images. It's definitely there

You are a bit late bird. April fool's day was yesterday. We all know that is a Hubble shot.

Unbelievable mate, absolutely stunning.

Another stunning Jupiter – it takes my breath away when I see how much detail you have captured. A truly amazing series of Jupiter images you have been posting Anthony.

Cheers
