sneak peek: Jupiter April 2 from Murrumbateman

I won't have a colour image for a few more hours, but I thought you might like to see a red channel image from right at the end of the session (5.32am local time).

I said a few choice words when this popped out of registax :-)

cheers, Bird

I just said a few choice words looking at that now!!!!

And guess what, Anthony???

Not that you place a massive amount of stock in jetstream maps, but I'm not sure we had an ideal situation over us this morn.

Imagine what might have happened if there was a complete absence of JS

Oh man....

The temptation is huge to not even bother unpacking the car.

Just go for a Take 2...

My poor fatigue-addled brain might never recover, but what if it's the seeing of the Century!!!

Excellent, can't wait for more. So much fine detail it almost looks messy!

Ok, here's a first colour image. Probably room for improvement, but not too bad :-)

Capture details: 50 seconds per channel @ 40 fps, R/G/B

bird, you are on top of your game!!!

feeling rather speechless and shaking my head in disbelief!

no-one has worked harder than yourself to overcome the obstacles over the last few years and freely pass on your knowledge without strings.

if there is such a thing as karma, then these images are just rewards for your mighty efforts towards helping others

you bloody beauty!!!
