Black HEQ5 non-goto
I have an old HEQ5 pre SynScan. It has been my main mount for visual for many years but it isn't getting the love it deserves since upgrading to an AZ-EQ6. I love the simplicity of the hand controller, put it into S for southern hemisphere, motors of centering and the 8xD batteries last several years.
Comes with the HEQ5 head which can be upgraded to GoTo with the upgrade kit. Has a PoleMaster adapter attached for those that use a PoleMaster. Standard 2" tripod and 2x5kg weights.
Pickup only, too expensive to post for its weight. Great mid weight class visual mount or for wide field astrophotography.
Just to reiterate, this is a non-GoTo HEQ5 and the only way to set up pulse guiding is to modify the hand controller.
