PIER for EQ6 mount

I'm selling the whole kit for setting up a pier for an NEQ6 (also EQ6-R, other EQ6's probably). It was made for me but I find the sky from my backyard just does not justify putting it up there, so it is unused. Details:

Aluminium post and adapter plate 97cms high and 14cms diameter with S/S bolts
In-Ground cage - galvanised ragbolts, 67 cms deep
Base plate of pier 25 cms square
Centre locking bolt is M12, easily adjusted with large knurled ring under top plate

All you need is concrete for the hole, sand to fill the hollow post, and someone to dig you a hole!
Local pickup only, Brisbane area.
$250

I don't have an HEQ5 Pro handy to try out, but a couple of forums I looked at said not. The NEQ6 does look significantly bigger than the HEQ5, so I don't think it will fit.

Hi Wendy, do you know of any other piers of this type that have been installed and if so how have they weathered outside, and what area in Brisbane are you local to?

Hi Wendy.
I’m interested too, having been thinking about installing one for my az-eq6.
If successful, would need to get a friend to pick up, but that may depend on your area/suburb.
Cheers, Barry

Sorry everyone, I have been slow to notice there were other replies on the thread because I have been getting a few PMs and was just dealing with those for a couple of days.
The pier is in the process of sale now, so marked as pending until all exchanges have been made. Thank you all for your interest.

No sorry, I don't have much knowledge of other piers around. I would have kept some sort of weatherproof cover over a pier when not in use, even though aluminium and stainless steel are not supposed to oxidise. Maybe wipe it over with some waterproofing agent, WD40 or something like that?

Thanks Wendy, It sounds good. If you haven't got a buyer yet I'll take it off your hands. I live in Cashmere in the north of Brisbane and if you are on the Northside as well I can pick it up any day apart from 25th and 27th. If you haven't got a buyer yet I'll take it off your hands. I'll leave it to you to get back to me with confirmation and when and where to collect. Thanks Darryl R
