Handheld iPhone snap of Jupiter Saturn conjunction

I tried an iPhone snap of the conjunction whilst I had been observing the pair sink close to the horizon through some gum trees.

This a handheld snap using a latest iPhone through my Zeiss 85T*FL spotting scope with zoom set at 60X on a fixed tripod. I was using the NightCap app for low light imaging.

I am happy with the result given it was a spur of the moment decision and it is hand held.

Interesting and misleading apparent alignment of all four Jupiter moons. The further most of the for points of light is the 7th mag star HD191250. Europa had just started a transit of Jupiter when this snap was taken. Titan is just visible below Saturn in the original image.

My more memorable observation of the conjunction occurred several hours earlier in broad daylight. My report is at http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=188341
