What a difference that makes. The single subs from my camera where already better then the stacked processed version from the suburbs. :-)
I had some issues in the beginning: plate solving didn't want to play along, too much noise on my initial target (M78), laptop went into sleep mode and shutdown APT.
I now know that at 3.50am in the summer it is too late for imaging. I had sequenced shorter subs for the core but it was too light already.
Anyway still happy with this.

Hi, a much better result. It's amazing the difference some dark sky makes. I am not sure about DSLR's but it looks like you need a flattener as the stars are elongated in the edges. Also does your camera have an inbuilt UV/IR filter as this helps to reduce the size of stars.
