[SOLD] QHY2Pro cooled CCD- PRICE REDUCED

Up for sale is my QHY2 Pro (mono)

It’s one of the early QHY models and is no longer sold but drivers are available at Theo’s site( Gama electronics). The chip temperature can be set and today when it is 23 degrees outside- probably much cooler inside of course- had no trouble cooling down to -9 deg C

Reason for selling- I don’t use it anymore - I have three other cooled cameras


You can control the camera with APT, Sharpcap or Nebulosity

I couldn’t get it to work with NINA ( version 1.10)- worked fine with earlier NINA versions

Now price reduced to $250 plus postage . That recognises that this is a legacy camera if a good one. (People ( not me!) have shot APOD winning images with this camera

The QHY2 pro cost $1600 new. But its just over 10 years old.
