Jupiter animation

Hi guys

Here's an animation of my Jupiter AVIs of the morning of the 23rd, including the double transit.

It's the first ever animation of my images.

The credit for this goes to my partner Rae, who has worked with me on this for most of today

This his been created in Flash.

Has the image scale been reduced for the animation? It looks smaller than the original you posted.

That's bloody awasome Matt, really like how the moons spin around and they create an amazing 3D effect, GRS also looks great.

Maybe a little, but not by much Mike.

Will see if I can get the frames a little larger, but not at the cost of resolution

Rae tells me it's set up to scale the animation to the size of the window you have opened.

Maximise the size of your window when viewing the animation (to full size) and apparently it should actually be larger than the original pic

Matt, you officially have permission for a nude strut up to the door of parliament house, a few laps around the house of reps and then home again.

This is really really good. Take a minute to think back to last year and then gague how far you have come.........

Fantastic job - the both of you. Gee, you have traveled a long way in terms of the results, hardware and software techniques learned and put into practice in the short space of 12 months - well done.

not sure how I missed this one before but I just had a look now and it looks great!
only suggestion would be: (not sure how you/ Rae would do this but...) at the end of the animation it seems to stop and the screen goes black until i refresh it. Must be a way to make it loop continuously.

excellent work mate.

by the way...
i now own a 3x Barlow...and a flip mirror...and I had a quick look to see if I could focus the TOUCAM on the moon the other night (which looked like it was under water with the effects of bad seeing)...
I'm getting closer to actually trying planetary stuff !

Hi Frank.

Yeah, that is a bit of a bummer with the animation.

It's not a problem in Internet Explorer, but more a Firefox thing (I think).

I'm told it's something to do with your settings.

Perhaps someone with a bit of tech savvy could chime in here as to how to make it refresh automatically in Firefox.
