Where to get aluminising done?

Hi,
I'm considering reworking a couple of mirrors of mine. Who does some quality aluminising /overcoating? Any idea what it costs for a 6 inch, and also for a 10 inch mirrors?

cheers

Gary,

try Isaac at Chi Qin Co in NSW. Does a great job. You'll find the contact details near the back of most Oz astronomy magazines. Don't know the cost.

Beware that some/one recoaters may say your mirror is overcoated when they don't in fact do that. Happened to me once!

Rgds

And if you get the chance to have it overcoated, do it, mine is, and it has lasted for ages.
