Scary Image Sequence

Note the garden shed and our house lower left.

1st is a view from the top of the tree looking down at the house shed and dam.

The rest self evident...

Scary stuff...

Glad these blokes know what they are doing...

Well Shawn I know what I am doing with a chain saw but that did not stop 3 iron barks going into the dam, the first well ok the second what the ???? the third I could not believe it. It is a heap of fun cutting them up up to chest deep in water. Having fallen when stepping back from a later one I tripped backwards just missed my leg with the saw.. very scarey..but the last tree I will ever cut fell exactly were I was going to walk away it was on about a 20 degree lean no way could it fall but there..if my daughter had not come out of the house so that I walked in her direction it would have got me. Becuase of the lean you did not need to look but something held and it fell 90 degrees to where I would have bet a house it would go.. So I have given tree cutting away it is just too dangerous.

I cleared several big gums before building my shack, the tallest was around 35 metres, dug around them with a backhoe and pushed them over in the desired direction.
