Jove this morning (March 20 UTC)

Well with these slow moving Highs the seeing continues to surprise in the normally unreliable Melbourne.

In this image an extension on the western side of GRS is forming. Reduced extension from SEB into STropicalZone and a nice festoon visible in the STropicalZone to the right of the GRS. A nice rift is also visible in the NEB (to the right of the CM of this image).

Enjoy!

John.

Another beauty, John! Well done! Huge image scale and lovely detail.

The colours still aren't quite right (imo) and it's a little overexposed in the SEZ but an otherwise lovely image.

Paul with the dollar hitting 80 US cents great time to get a 12"+ reflector (or other) and get into Jove imaging before it hits opposition. It was 74 degrees in Alt when I observed it this morning!

Thanks Dave, my mirror was 1.5 degrees above ambient this morning so really keen to see the results with the cooler and the mirror at ambient.

John.
