Thanks guys, Astropixel processor is a very good alternative to Pixinsight if you are not mathematically inclined. It does a great job of extracting the channels and then allowing bi colour combinations, the rest is done in Photoshop which I am very familiar with.

An intriguing and very pleasing rendition of this well know object Nik.

Your reference to APP “extracted Ha and OIII channels” has tweaked my curiosity. Does this mean that you were not using additional filters on your ZWO 294 OSC and that APP was doing this in software?

Hi Rodney
I use the L-Enhance filter by Optolong, it is a dual narrowband filter for OSC which allows H-Alpha and O3 through .
AstropixelProcessor actually has an HA and O3 extraction routine when you are stacking, you have to run the routine twice once for HA and once for O3 then you can combine the colours in RGB combine where you can tweak it.

I agree with Rodney and am also curious about extracting the channels.
