M42-Carina w/Fluorite Scope + Milky Way

Hi All,
Had the first clear night for ages, so I stayed up till things started getting fuzzy, managed to do some more tests with the Vixen Fluorite scope, M42 and the Carina Nebula, results look good, swapped over to a Nikon ED 18-55mm Lens for the Milky Way, you can see the Coal Sack, Cross, pointers Etc. quite clearly, Focus was reasonable (Its difficult- must use DSLR Focus) colour good.

M42 & ncg3372- 4 x 6 Min. Exp. at ISO800, DF removed, guided

Milky Way- 6 x 5 Min. Exp. at ISO800, DF removed, guided.

I did some others also but havent processed them yet, time consuming game.

cheers................Jim
