IC 2948 region 10 hours

I had two runs on this object where the camera was rotated about 40 degrees between the two which meant when the images were stacked I had to crop about half to eliminate to overlap on the final image.
I did this because all up I had 10 hours of data.

Anyways. Espirit 80mm, on HEQ5unguided one minute subs, no darks or lights, ZWO 1600 cooled mono and I captured thru every filter (7) although did not get more than 16 subs each of O11 and S11...I was going to get more but following nights would not permit cause of cloud cover...I hope to get more data for the second position as it was better framed...but I decided to work with both sets for practice. I still have not got the hang as to managing colour ...it is what it is.

Stacked Deep Sky Stacker, Processed in Star Tools and Photoshop.

Alex, this is one of the best shots you've posted in my opinion. Love the detail and colour you've managed and although many of your shots are a little too psychedelic for my liking, I prefer the more saturated version this time. Both versions look great but the first one really jumps out. Quite an epic amount of varying data you've collected and the hardwork has paid out for you. Well done!

Thank you for the encouragement.
I am now stacking the second batch by themselves as they are better framed and just better images.

My question is how should I map the channels from this object?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the encouragement.
I tried another reprocess using a little more data and tried to get the colour more acceptable.

I resisted for a long time but the difference is unbelievable and although it is really very much more time consuming I feel it is well worth the effort.

My images still lack something but the stuff I get after a stack is just so much better than with the DSLR I really wish I had gone narrow band earlier as I would be so much further ahead.

I now have two mounts set up in my little observatory and I was going to run mono thru one scope and DSLR thru the other but I think I will just have to bite the bullet and get another mono unit..hang the expense I am not going to regret it when on my death bed.
I may have to get staff for the processing however..it seems to take me two days using my lappy but next trip I am bring up my desk top so hopefully things will move along a little faster...and hopefully the desk top will handle the 3x drizzle.
