You know, a year ago I'd have amazed myself saying that! Now I got Sky Atlas 2000.0 the world is not my oyster

Mind you, for imagers, the Autostar is a Godsend I have to say.

Agreed... "push to" is OK, I used dobbies up to 18" for many, many years!!!
However, there comes a time when GOTO can be fun and on the smaller ETX the kids can get a buzz which hopefully will enthuse them further into the hobby.
I've seen the ebay ads etc, but the "average" price at the moment is around us$ 120 plus us$ 15 postage.... really a bit more than I want to pay right now.
