Mobile Phone Astrophotography

Hi everyone,

I have been messing about with my mobile phone
for astrophotography lately.

I find it is easy, and gives great results just for a click and save,
or even for an aided magnified view of the skies.

I am fortunate to have Bortle 2 skies, so seeing is usually great
even for naked eye observations.

Image shows a one second hand held exposure of the Southern Cross
from my driveway, using a Samsung S10.

Image is as taken, no processing apart from slight cropping
to reduce Image size for posting.

I have 2 weeks off after a planned holiday was cancelled,
and have chosen to take the time to self isolate.

With this in mind, I plan to take advantage of my available time to try
different types of observations and imaging, with the hope to expand
techniques and ideas.

This is one of what may be a few posts.

Thanks for looking.

Paul.
