Jupiter - March 13 - Canberra

Seeing about average this morning. Maybe 4.5/10

Didn't think it was worth firing up the DMK, but was keen to get some AVIs for some practice runs in Registax 4, which I've decided to come to grips with

Here's the result of a quick run through R4 using single point alignment.

Still got plenty to learn with this software, but so far so good.

9.25, ToUcam ProII, 3x barlow.

Red Jnr is visible. There's also plenty happening in the NEB and equatorial region. Have no idea what that huge white disturbance is to the left of the CM in the EQ zone, but it's impressive!

Note also the disturbance attached to the large white spot in the South Polar region.

having trouble with the link, but the small version looks ggod. yes that white area in the EQ is bloody awesome
