PS layers question

This one's for all the LRGB planetary imagers.

I'm interested to know your imaging path, from acquisition to final presentation.

In what order do you do things? Which software are you using for processing etc

But just as importantly, for those using PS... when it comes time to create layers and then put one over the other, does it matter in which order you lay them down?

By that, I mean do you have the Luminence channel as layer 1 at 100% opacity, and then layer RGB in any set order or doesn't it really matter?

I don't use PS to combine my images Matt, but when it comes to selecting luminosity layer there is a luminosity blend for layers in the layers blending option dropdown.

From what I remember you can insert the seperate RGB images into the rgb channels of a blank image and then layer the luminosity channel. Sorry I can't be more help
