Cone Nebula

First proper night out with the ZWO Duo narrowband filter. I believe this is the most affordable duo Ha, Oiii filter for OSC camera at a very affordable $160 for a 1.25" size. Having more portable fun with the AZ GTe mount which is getting more and more use than my EQ6. It's a great little setup for quick setup when you're not sure how the weather's going to pan out throughout the night.

I accidentally unthreaded the filter from the 1.25" holder and couldn't remember which was the front and back. I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right and I lost the coin toss There's star bloat due to the backwards filter. I tried my best to minimise it by splitting the colour channels and doing morphological transformation on the stars until they were more or less even but so much you can do!

55x 3min @ unity gain
Skywatcher AZ GTe EQ mode
Samyang 135mm F2 (F2.8)

Increased saturation after a quick nap and fresher eyes.
