It has been one of the worst Astro years in Wales

We were discussing the weather S O R R Y.... at the club and decided to look up some stats.

This year has been almost the worst on record for many here in Wales, that is the true Wales attached to the UK many can remember and I may as well give up on Ha and Astro

In fact almso every member can not remember the lsat time they were actually able to view and enjoy it

How frustrating it must be. I know what its like here when its cloudy for a week or two but not months on end!!!!!
Maybe time for a clear skies holiday??
Or maybe take the plunge and emigrate to Aus.
Not sure if they got thst £10 thing going on like my mum took in the 1960s when she was 19.
Im glad she did otherwise I'd probably doing something else at night.
Hope it clears up soon and get outside and enjoy the stars.

Having lived in Bangor and Manchester before moving here I feel for you Jeremy. It was very hard to maintain an active interest when I only got a dozen good nights in a year and for most of them it was cold.

Actually I would have loved to move to Australia, when I was younger I couldn't afford it now I am too old

We're dying for rain here, wettest day this entire year was 24mm on March 16. Currently 63% behind on our average rain fall this year to date.

Not pretty on the land, glad to have the consolation to be able to look up at least.
