Nikon WX 100th Anniversary Binoculars

Just spotted the ad on the Bintel web site for the Nikon WX 100th Anniversary binoculars https://www.bintel.com.au/product/ni...v=6cc98ba2045f - available in 7x50 or 10x50 for ...

...

...

$11,000!!!

I'm sure they're magnificent, but for that price, I assume they come with a small car or beach cottage to look at?

(Or maybe, they come with a forklift to hold them - they weigh-in at 2.5 kg!)

Imagine telling the average Missus..your not getting a car "I'm getting a pair of small Binoculars for only 11000, they're on special.. I cant miss out..and I'll have bragging rights at star parties"! INDEED!!

These had been announced since 2017. They were in the 2019 CP+ in Yokohama in Feb and were very nice! AUD$11,000 is a little too steep though. They’re more like AUD$8,000.

Yes, but the extra $3,000 for the 100th Anniversary Edition gets you a special logo and serial number on the body, and a specially embossed leather strap!
