No place like home

So good to get back up home . So good to see my daughter (Sascha) and her mother (Sandy) .
So very happy to see my friends Bundy(baby dog) , Leyroy(mother dog) , Kanga (darling dog) and Jango (little ming ming dog) . So good to see my cartaker mate (Gordon) still has not had a drink and is pulling his life together and working on the observatory site ready for the shed and that it is waiting to be picked up from the rural agent today . So good to see Gordon happy that I had spent his money well with the 70/300 mm lens for his 50d nikon and that he is going to get into astro wide field photos as well . The old lap top wont work very well with the inverter but he is happy to get a 12 vlt power supply. Not happy not to be able to keep an eye on my father but happy my Son will manage this whilst I am up here.
Happy that all the kittens now have good homes and that Wiskas at least had a small family before she can no longer (vet trip in a day or so) .
Happy to be still alive and in living in the best place in the world our home Australia .
AND very happy I can remind myself that it is a wonderful world by saying same here....the best dam web site in the world .

Well said, Alex.

There are always reasons to be happy if people care to find/see them

Thanks you Guys ,
Well I was thinking last night most people must think I am a cranky old fella and what else could they think cause I am often having a go at something or other, or complaining about some difficulty in my life . However thats not really the case but that is the tradgedy of the net you can get things off your chest to the world ..things often you would not share with people close to you..maybe thats just me but in never ceases to surprise me the secrets people happily share on the net.. well unless someone reads it I dont even share those secrets .
But the fact is I am always happy because when it gets really bad I think ..geez I see movies made about suffering my movie is better than that ..so they asre the moments you can pretend to be a hero ...so even bad things I see them as good ..you cant have good unless you have bad ...no peace without war ..no day without night .
So yes I am a happy chappy even at the worse of times, in better times just leaves me estatic with how good it is to be alive .
So that I recon is what its all about really .
Be happy with whatever cards you are deal and play them to win and happyness is always a win .
Thanks again.
alex

You made it back! I thought you were going to set down roots on the Northern Line.

Ah, the Valley of Tabulam - sounds almost biblical does it not? - but, as often as it has been said, I shall repeat it: Home is where the heart is, Alex.

I hope your Dad is OK, mate.

Cheers,

Thanks John , my father is fine half my problem there is he believes the "on its a simple proceedure" line and translates that to he can become his active self too fast after these things. So thats a small matter.
Home is where the heart is ????
Gee I have to add Orion, LMC and SMC to the mix .. even somewhere nearer the gallactic centre given my fondness of photographing the area .
Actually went to Tabby paid for the shed but had to come home a polly (ALP) is making a public presentation and I figure I will give the poor devil a fair go and stay away . Last time in a similar situation the crowd nearly lynched the guy I get things too stirred up so best I stay away..mmm it on at 2pm ...maybe just a look in
Thanks again

Hi Dennis yes I would like to meet you too and so many people here so they can see how shy I am . Yes I agreed overboard with smilies today...the use of many shocked ones is hard to take like a disco .
