DMK, BORG60ED and M51

Few nights ago I tested my new BORG60ED (that I'll use as guiding scope on a 101ED BORG) with my DMK21AF04 on M51 and I wondered about the details obtained with this little APO. Unguided pics. I use a bit of Richardson-Lucy2 to enhance the details.

Feedbacks and other

Cheers, Anto

Wow! I'm excited. I can't wait for some more clear skies to try some of those sort of shots with my DMK. Excellent shot Anto.

Excellent Anto! What mount is this on? Do you have it housed in an observatory?

No Mike, it's part of my new travelling equipment. I mounted by now on EQ6 but when I'll have the 101ED (just few days again) I'll mount the 101ED on EQ6 and the 60 over the 101.

Hello Anto,
The 60 is a good performer, I have been eye balling the BORG scopes recently, just wondering what they cost when your fully kitted. With the ability to transform them from 50mm to 101mm by changing the primary aperture looks appealing.
I got their 1.25 helical for my Mak, quite versatile when you explore how many different places it can be attached.
Could you show us your set up all the input goes a long way.

Hi Anto, that is a wonderful image of M51.
You have captured some great details in the arms as well.

Thanks Ric it's just a minimum. I think that integrating about 120' using subframes of 2'-3' I can reach the best for the DMK. I'll try as soon as I can.
