I am a bit tempted by the Pegasus Focus Cube for bringing the motor and controller into one box.

I still reckon the SharpSky Pro is THE best out there, and feature packed too.

Baader

Nice looking unit. I like the dew heater port and the cable clip.
The magnetic homing is also a nice addition.

I’ve got the focuser on my MK91, and will buy the motor drive while it’s available, just in case. According to the TS website there’s a basic handset for manual control plus a USB port for a PC supplied with the motor drive, so it’s not really necessary to shell out another 800 clams for this box.

Discontinued

Hi Nick,
You might want to order soon as the old motor drive is discontinued. I like that the old one could be powered by AA batts for unplugged visual or USB for AP. Nonetheless, the new model is a step fwd with the homing sensor, dew heater port and apparently can handle heavier loads. I agree it is $$$, but the Baader accessories I have are all of very high quality.
