M83 Southern Pinwheel Galaxy.. an early one..

Hi again,

Here's M83 early in the morning right next to the crecent moon. Taken with the C10 f4.7, 7 x 5 minutes at ISO 800. I use the Baader UHC-S filter as i recalled Scott also use this to bring out the nebulas in the galaxy arm Could do a bit more exposures but the clouds came in.

hope you guys like it.

M-83

Hi Eric,
Nice picture, yes I agree modding the 350 will improve matters, for comparison and taken with about the same size scope (LX200-10"- F-10) but a higher F ratio (the Canon 300D dosent really like this) my results of M-83, the camera has been modded which really does help.

6 x 6 Min. ISO-800, DF removed, guided- LX200-10", F-10, Canon 300D- mod.

regards......Jim
